The NPAA has been working closely with a lobbying firm to achieve the overall goal of establishing the NPAA as the universally accepted body representing NPs in Alberta. This work includes identifying, building relationships with, and soliciting support from relevant stakeholders. Together, we have created a detailed government relations plan with clear benchmarks and deliverables. The firm also supports the NPAA board by providing briefing documents, administrative and practical support to ensure our agenda is moving forward.
Currently our work with Alberta Counsel includes advocacy and legal support. For those who are interested in more details regarding Alberta Counsel, access their website:
Primary responsibility for the NPAA at Alberta Counsel lies with Pascal Ryffel, Director of Government Relations, Jonathan Wescott, lawyer and principal at Alberta Counsel, as well as Ed Picard, lawyer and associate at Alberta Counsel.
