Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing personalized healthcare to join our concierge medicine practice. As a Nurse Practitioner with us, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care by conducting thorough assessments, diagnosing health conditions, and implementing appropriate treatment plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in primary care, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic testing as necessary.
– Diagnose and treat acute and chronic health conditions, providing appropriate interventions, prescription medications, and referrals to specialists when required.
– Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best outcomes for our patients.
– Educate patients on preventive care, disease management, lifestyle modifications, and health promotion strategies.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and best practices.
– Provide supportive counseling and emotional support, addressing patient concerns and promoting holistic wellbeing.

Requirements

– Master’s degree in Nursing and certification as a Nurse Practitioner with current licensing in Alberta.
– Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary care setting.
– Strong clinical skills and expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions.
– Excellent communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and effectively communicate with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
– Proficient in using electronic medical records systems and other healthcare technology.
– Dedicated to providing patient-centered care and maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
