Nurse Practitioners (NPs) are highly-trained health care professionals that can provide many medical services to Albertans at a reasonable cost. Yesterday constituent Tammy Surbey (an NP) and a group of supporters visited the legislature to bring attention to the issue of NPs currently not fitting within the framework of rural healthcare delivery.
