Description

This year the course will explore the impact of COVID-19 on patients with chronic liver disease and how social isolation has led to an increasing burden of alcohol-related liver disease. It will provide space for dialogue between primary care and specialists (general internists, gastroenterologists and hepatologists) around both the outpatient care of common chronic liver diseases, including when to use virtual care, as well as inpatient management of patients with cirrhosis and alcohol-related liver disease.
