MLA Advocacy Letter

As part of our ongoing advocacy initiative, the NPAA has developed an online tool designed to assist you in communicating with the elected MLA in your area.

If you support the implementation of a funding model that will allow Nurse Practitioners to provide essential health care services in your community, please complete the following steps:

Step 1: Review the template letter included below.

Step 2: Insert your name, email and location in the fields provided.

Step 3: Select an elected official from the drop down menu. Selecting the drop down menu will reveal the elected official’s electoral district and email address. Once selected, content included in the drop down list will appear in the letter. If you are unsure of your elected official or district, please visit the Elections Alberta Division Maps by clicking here.

Step 4: Click on the ‘Generate Letter’ button to produce your custom letter (page will reload with your custom letter).

Step 5: “Click” on the candidates email address and your email software program will open.

Step 6: Copy and paste the letter into your email.

Step 7: Hit send and your done.

This form is designed to generate a custom letter that can be forwarded to your electoral candidate. No information entered into the template will be archived.
