Northern Alberta Regional Centre for Healthy Aging – Kickoff Event

October 3, 2023 @ 11:00 am 12:00 pm UTC-7

As one of four regional centers in Canada, the Northern Alberta Regional Centre for Healthy Aging, a program delivered by Sage Seniors Association (Sage) in partnership with the University of Alberta Faculty of Nursing, Athabasca University, and funded by the Max Bell Foundation and the Canadian Frailty Network, is leading the way in fostering collaboration between community-based organizations, healthcare entities, and sector leaders. Not only is the work important, *who* is doing the work is also important. NPs are optimally trained to guide this work within community-based primary care.

Join us on Tuesday, October 3 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Sage for light refreshments and an opportunity to learn more about our collective efforts. Discover the journey that led to the establishment of the Northern Alberta Regional Centre for Healthy Aging and the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in promoting healthy aging and living well in community.
