Description
Provide women’s health services PAP screening Breast cancer screening Contraceptive management including IUD insertions/removals, Nexplanon insertions/removals Provide primary care services (including not limited to): Management of acute and chronic illnesses Suturing, mole removal and skin biopsy Illness across childhood Diabetes Management Driver’s Medical Exams Completion of pre-op and physical assessment forms for surgery, dental and treatment STI/BBI screening, treatment and follow-up Working in consultation with STI/BBI services at AHS Collaborating with ECHO program for HCV treatment Outreach into the communities with NNADAP and harm reduction workers Phlebotomy skills
Requirements
Bachelor of Nursing Degree, Basic Life Support Certificate, Currently registered with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta, Cultural Sensitivity training is an asset
